EXPANDING THE REACH OF
ROBOTIC EXPLORATION
Explore the universe with our agile robots.
About Us
SPACE MOBILITY is expanding the reach of robotic exploration by developing agile, energy-efficient mobile robots designed for navigating diverse terrains such as the Moon, Mars, and Earth. Our focus lies in creating legged and hybrid wheeled systems that boast motion capabilities equivalent to or surpassing those of the most agile animals and humans. Our overarching vision is to deliver robust transport systems capable of accessing hazardous locations with ease, including high-inclination slopes, cliffs, and craters that are inaccessible with existing technology.
Our vision is to take humanity to places not visited before on Mars and the Moon, and to undertake hazardous, exhausting or even impossible for humans tasks on Earth.
Our mission is to redefine mobility by developing cutting-edge robots that can navigate the most demanding terrains across celestial bodies.

Robotic Exploration with LEO series
Agile quadrupeds for earth and beyond
Meet LEO
We develop LEO, a quadruped robot of unprecedented agility, robustness and energy efficiency that mimics or even surpasses the capabilities of the most athletic humans and animals. With LEO, we envision a healthier, safer, and more productive life for everyone, while exploring everything that distant worlds like Mars and the Moon have to offer.
Leading the way in planetary mobility
LEO is designed to traverse highly unstructured sites like the Shackleton Crater, a prime target for most Lunar exploration programs. The crater’s highly sloped terrain of permanent darkness, which most possibly hosts useful water ice, has, so far, been unreachable. We envision LEO, to be one of the main candidates for companies and agencies with cargo or equipment transport needs. Our mission is to accelerate space exploration by aiding at building and moving around the future Lunar infrastructures, while also preparing for humanity’s first steps on Mars.
Revolutionizing mobility on Earth
LEO for Earth is envisioned to revolutionize mobility on our planet. Here, human civilization changes fast and the first signs of a fully robotized future are already evident through impressive advances on a daily basis. We aim to play a key role in this shift by providing robust, agile, and low-cost robots at scale towards a healthier and more productive future. Our target applications include among others advanced mobility on agricultural sites for more, better, and cheaper food, at natural disaster scenes for search and rescue missions, and on industrial sites for automated inspection. We envision our robots to help the soonest possible by undertaking many tedious, boring, harmful, and hazardous motion tasks.
